The Art Ministry is passionate about finding creative ways to communicate truths about God, His character and His work. We desire to see students go to great lengths to use their artistic gifts to glorify God and bless the body of believers. As a created people, molded in the very image of the Creator, we strive to cultivate a community of people who steward their God-given talents and gifts in ways that glorify God and advance his Kingdom. We engage in everything from drawing and painting, to sculpting and musical worship, poetry and artistic collaboration.

We exist to passionately and creatively lead students and faculty in an authentic response to all God has revealed Himself to be, actively stewarding the gifts of our fellowship to influence the world for the glory of God.

We strive to be worshipers who are:
  • Dependent: Our hands are open and our hearts are postured in humble submission toward a loving, gracious and sovereign God who takes pleasure in each of us and satisfies us with everything we need. Psalm 145:14-19
  • Authentic: Who we are on the outside matches who we are on the inside. We are real. Psalm 51:6
  • Creative: The creative God of the universe has made us in His image to utilize all of our God-given gifts to glorify Him and edify the Body of Christ. Genesis 1:1; 26
  • Passionate: Our only appropriate response to God’s love toward us is to worship Him with every part of our being, and in so doing, emboldening those around us to do the same. Mark 12:30
  • Influential: We are called not merely to grow locally, but to steward the people, gifts and resources with which we’ve been richly blessed to impact the world for God’s glory. Matthew 28:19-20
